She doesn't have vampire powers, luscious beauty, dhampir strength, a soul mate (yet!) or a shadow-kissed bond, but she does have her wits and she's learning (slowly) to stand up for herself. Familiar faces emerge: Adrian, Jillian, Eddie, the terrible, horrible, awesome Zmey.
